Servicing and maintenance Our service engineers provide annual health checks, fault-finding, repair and maintenance services on existing HIU, thermal store, thermal bank, (district) heat networks and substations.

Heat network optimisation Our team has decades of experience designing existing heat banks, HIUs and substations. We are the best fault-finding and optimisation experts for any type of heat network in the UK.

Energy efficiency monitoring Our unique and innovative technology has been refined over many years and is protected by numerous patents relating to water storage, heat exchange and the networking of communal heating systems.

Heatweb Solutions Ltd launches ‘world first’ energy efficiency monitor.

A ‘world first’ energy efficiency monitor which offers real-time technology and supports businesses looking to become net zero has been launched.

The BEMS 2.3 monitoring system is the brainchild of Heatweb Solutions Ltd which was created to bring transformative change to the industry with real-time monitoring solutions.

The company was formed by Richard Hanson-Graville and Jason Lawrence, who have more than 50 years of combined experience in the energy efficiency industry.

BEMS 2.3 provides precise energy readings to show customers exactly how much energy and money they are wasting. It has already supported the National Trust and London Excel and Jason, Managing Director of Heatweb, said there was an “urgent need” to show how efficient the performance of a heating or HVAC system was in real-time.

He explained: “In the past, when it comes to improving the efficiency of a heat network, it has come down to guesswork or trial and error.

“But BEMS 2.3 can show the energy efficiency of a heat network in real-time, either onsite or remotely. With this data, we can consult with customers about how they can use these insights to make informed decisions and improvements. We are the first in the world to deliver this.

“On the monitoring side, there is a requirement from the Government for commercial buildings to report the efficiency of their heat/HVAC networks. And with servicing, there is a huge amount of HIUs but little understanding of how heat networks work, let alone the HIUs connected to it.”

A House of Commons committee report has found that 17% of UK carbon emissions are from commercial buildings.

Richard Hanson-Graville, Technical Director, said: “Heatweb Solutions Ltd is created to get buildings to net zero, one heat network at a time. We are committed to real innovation and are developing systems, including CO2 heat pump-powered heat networks, to get to net zero quicker and cheaper over time.”

In addition to supporting customers achieve net zero, Heatweb provides monitoring technologies and training to ensure that people have a fundamental understanding of the heat network they manage.

Heatweb Solutions Ltd is officially launching on Thursday 26th October with a free Net Zero Seminar where the company will show the world’s first heat network with a working CO2 heat pump.
