Expansion Vessel Sizing

A simple way to work out the size of the central heating expansion vessel required for certain sized systems.

The system fill pressure is typically near or above the expansion vessel pre-charge pressure which must be enough to fill the system to the highest point , where 10m=1bar.

The maximum pressure should be below the setting of the pressure relief valve on the system.
